Gateway to the World
The Daniels Corridor is probably one of the most rapidly changing sections of town. Here you’ll find the Southwest Florida International Airport, US 41 and I-75. No matter where you’re coming from or where you’re going, you’ll have to pass through here.
Plantation
One of Fort Myers’ hidden gems; Plantation Rd features both planned communities and custom homes on acre or more lots. Also, conveniently located to Chico’s World Headquarters and multiple access routes to beaches.
Treeline
Treeline has become the destination of choice for planned unit developments and commercial developments. Lots of housing and entertainment options can be found along this road, as well as a paved bike path from Colonial Blvd to Corkscrew Rd.
Fiddlesticks
There are multiple golf communities located along Fiddlesticks Blvd. Continue N on Fiddlesticks to Palomino to find the unique Paseo neighborhood of Italian villas.
Gateway
This planned development is a unique mix of residential neighborhoods (both gated and non-gated), golf course, and large commercial neighbors such as Gartner, Sony, Comcast & Cintas.
Home Prices
Home prices and sizes vary greatly depending depending on the area and individual neighborhoods.
Schools
Public schools in Lee County are assigned on an open-enrollment basis. Meaning parents rank a variety of schools close to where you live.
Dining and Shopping
Shopping along the Daniels Corridor is limited to The Bell Tower Shops and a few strip malls offering groceries and convenience items. However, locally owned, unique restaurants line the area.
- The Bell Tower Shops
- 2 Meatball’s
- Fancy’s Southern Cafe
- Origami
- Casa Lupita
Entertainment
Much like shopping along the Corridor, entertainment will require a short car ride. But there are a few options along the way.
- Regal 20 Cinemas at Bell Tower
- Head Pinz Entertainment Center
Parks and Recreation
Parks and recreation along the Corridor could best be summed up in one word: sports.
- Minnesota Twins: Hammond Stadium
- Boston Red Sox: JetBlue Park
- Sherman Soccer Complex
- Paved bike path from Gateway to US 41 (E and W) and on Treeline from Colonial to Corkscrew (N and S)
- Multiple golf courses
Commute
Quick access to I-75 and US 41. Recent additions of Treeline and Michael G. Rippe Parkway make N/S travel to Estero and Naples easy.
